While I'd like to see the project done completely in open source style, I understand keeping the alpha "closed" to fix the first bugs and cleaning up the code / make sure there is no obvious security holes
Cant wait for the beta release and hopefully along with that, the source code release ^^
 
One question to add / possible bug report:
Does anyone have problems with the QR code scanning?
Might be cuz of the Jolla / SailfishOS, but after scanning the QR code, the "result" screen after the camera recognizes the QR is black with only a numeric keyboard on the screen. Have to swipe the program to background and go back to it, to "fix it" / get to the sending screen.

The "greenhouse" is now prettymuch finished The thing missing to get the project running, is the miners of which pick up has been delayed due to conflicting time schedules with the friend. Hoping to get them this week though

I'll start germinating/planting some of the chillie varieties this weekend (Jigsaw, Fatalii, Goats Weed), but havent decided on the others yet. If anyone has any recommendations or requests for plants, share them now ^^

In the beginning we could use the Freicoin Alliance as an "umbrella" for the projects as long as the projects keep small. If the projects grow we can register them separately, this would also give more transparency in the longer run.

In short the first three columns could be described like that:
If Freicoin is used to make an ethical investment, an zero percent micro loan or an purchase*, the Freicoin Alliance (for example) gives up to 25%  extra Freicoins to an on the Freicoin Foundation Web or the Freicoin Alliance registered project on the users choise**.
 
* The goal is to encourage cooperation, sharing of knowledge and a non harming fair economy. Therefore only payments which fit to this ethical rules are supported by the Alliance.
Proxy payments to Bitcoin or other currencies (even Fiat currencies) is possible if an payment handler is found.
How this could be handled is described in the Freipay project [1]

The main goals of investments / loans should be:
- Encourage an fair economy.
- Encourage an non harming economy! 
- Encourage cooperation.
- Encourage transparency
- Encourage sharing of knowledge
- Encourage decentralization
- Encourage proagation of Freicoin

To finance these projects the "donation" matching of the Freicoin Foundation could be used if the Freicoin Foundation gives its ok.
The problem I see here is, that these would be no real "donations", its more like voting with Freicoins though using Freicoins.
Also currently no redonations should be used, that can also hinder this project.
 
Still I think that all these projects would fit perfectly to the mission statement of the Freicoin Foundation* and will give real use-cases to Freicoin.

how do we want to proceed?
My suggestion would be the following:
 
First of all we should be as transparent as possible with what we / the Alliance / The Freicoin Community does.
 
Second we should only do projects that have large support.
 
Therefore a minority of 20% should be enough to "Veto" out an Freicoin Alliance Project Suggestion, that wants to speak / act on behalf the Alliance, or wants direct support from the Alliance.
 
Even if a 20% minority is enough to veto out an project. We should encourage independent projects that allow as much freedom for the project as possible, as long as the project does no harming and keeps transparent / open minded.
 
Third, we should keep the process as simple and informal as possible.
 
So here is my suggestion:
Everybody is welcome to post a project suggestion in the Alliance Forum:
If the projects wants to speak / act on behalf the Alliance / the Freicoin Community, or wants direct support from the Alliance / Freicoin Community it needs at least the support (likes) of 2 "well known"* members / donors of the Freicoin Community. The title of these projects should be marked with [?Alliance?]
 
All projects that have this support and are not "vetoed" out and therefore can speak / act on behalf the Alliance / the Freicoin Community as far as it is related to their project are marked with [Alliance] and listed in Running Projects.
 
These projects, marked with [Alliance], are eligible to have support from the Alliance funds.
Donors, people who donated directly to the alliance, or devoted some time to Freicoin, can decide which of these projects they want to support.**
Donors that donated Freicoins directly can distribute their donated coins directly to these projects, or can allow people they trust to distribute the Freicoins for them.
People that donated time, can distribute Freicoins coming from donation matching or from  donations where the donor is unknown, or Freicoins that have not been distributed for a long time period (>1 Month).

The wallet is almost complete. Synchronizing with the blockchain and receiving funds works fine, but I'm having some issues with creating transactions.. Hopefully I can get this issue fixed shortly so you guys have something to test

Indeed. I like the French word for gold, 'Or' I believe although it's an Indo-European language, is related to the Hebrew word for light אור or "Owr" (compare to Eng. Hour, and Ger. Uhr) and the Sumerian city Urim or Ur (in Babylonian Ur simply means City as far as I can see), where they are credited for having standardised and systemised the same units for time and space we still use today, based on the geometric base-60 system, the square and compass, and what they saw as a direct proportional relationship between the human body and the cosmos (no less), as if to chant the ancient mantra «As above so below».
 
The perimeter of circles and the horizon was divided into 360 degrees, and further into arc minutes and seconds. The proto-calendar for the Sumerian year was divided into twelve months of equal length relating to the lunar month, with intercalary months shot in from time to time to make up for the missing days of the full solar year. Would it be an idea to have a thread or subforum called Website Suggestions or similar? I just had a hard time figuring out a proper thread to suggest making the main navigation into a 'sticky menu' that remains on top of the page as you scroll down. I don't remember if this is an option in IPBoard, but WP has it as an option I think, at least the theme I used. Is there some system of widgets or similar?
