The age of social media, "i think, therefore i (instagr)am"?

Recommended Posts

Just different.

Society isn't changing, nor are the people.

Human beings still have the same needs as they did 10 years ago, 100 or 1000 or 10000 years ago.

What is happening that is positive is a paradigm shift away from traditional economies. This might mean wholesale changes in the world as more people share resources.

I agree with you, especially with the positive paradigm shift(s) :)

Though with the changing of society, it kinda depends on the perspective one is looking from, and how it is defined. Indeed, its hardly changing if you look at it broadly; we have the same social needs and traditions for interacting. But if one looks at how we interact and what expectations we have for those interactions, its changing radically :) Technology brings powerful tools for individuals to express themselves in so many new and different ways, that its stunning.

Another link to share on the same subject, with a great video: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/09/jason-silva-shots-of-awe-instagram-video_n_5787266.html
