Maidsafe: 

In short Maidsafe aims to build a distributed storage protocol + an proof of ressource based coin.

Currently I have not yet reviewed the technical paper, but the concepts sounds interesting.

Especially the idea, that you can directly use your coins to store stuff, or earn coins with storing stuff seems to be promising:
