Arcurus 331 Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 Hi all,the "The Freicoin Alliance Freipay Project" is an non profit Freicoin Community driven project and one part of the "The Frei-Republic / Frei-Economy Project".The Frei-Republic / Frei-Economy Project is based on 5 columns to cover each aspect of Freicoin. "The Freipay Project" is one column of it.The main goal of "The Freipay Project" is to propagate a "Common Good Based Economy" through encouraging cooperation, sharing of knowledge, dezentralisation and supporting a non harming fair economy. The Freipay Project itself is focused on the payment / donation aspect. The Freipay project is not intended to be an payment provider, nevertheless its intended to cooperate with payment providers. In short:Participants of Freipay can get up to 100%* of their transaction value for verified common good / non profit projects on the users choice for each payment** or donation to white listed projects claimed with Freicoins! Claimed means, that an equal amount of Freicoins, representing the transaction value must be used to claim the matching. Transactions done in Freicoins have priority about transactions made in other alternative currencies, transactions made in alternative currencies have priority about transactions made in fiat currencies. Donations can always be claimed with 100% Payments and donations can be claimed back to at maximum one year. That means, it is enough if Freicoins are used for claiming the matching, even after the payment / donation was done. So an participant must not necessarily have any Freicoins to get started, because someone can claim for him. We could also allow to claim if somebody has devoted some time (measured in Freihours) to do some good. The Freipay Project itself is purely donation based and therefore dependent on your donations. Therefore please consider to donate some Freicoins also to the Freipay Project itself if you want the service Freipay can offer to advance. Proxy payments to Bitcoin or other currencies (even Fiat currencies like Dollar or Euro) are possible if an "Payment Handler" is found that supports that currency. Everybody, who want to support The Freipay project is welcome to take part to become an Payment Handler for The Freicoin Project, just post here or send the current caretakers an message. If you want to make an an ethical investment or an zero percent micro loan you can use Freiinvest or The Freicoin Micro Loan Project. * Out of technical reasons currently Freicoins that have been used already with "The Freipay Project" are not supported and therefore get no matching. * To guarantee fairness the given out amount per user / user Group can be limited. * The exact percentage is dependent on Freicoin Foundation coin issuing and therefore not in the hand of The Freipay Project. The only Freipay costs that are covered from the coin matching an therefore can slightly reduce the matching are: Freicoin Network Transaction Fees, Freicoin demurrage costs and in case of proxy payments to other currencies: exchange costs and transaction fees in this network. Time and resource costs from The Freicoin Project / Payment Handlers are not covered and therefore are dependent purely on your donation to "The Freipay Project". * * The goal is to encourage cooperation, sharing of knowledge and a non harming fair economy. Therefore only payments which fit to this ethical rules are supported by the The Freipay Project. If you want to have an organisation or project white- or black- yellow (not black, but also not fully white yet) listed, just post here or write us an message. In the future if the project is well tested 50% of the extra Freicoins may be given directly to the user to encourage using the Freipay project. Donations can always be claimed with 100% Payments and donations can be claimed back to at maximum one year. It seems a perfect example of how to propagate a "Common Good Based Economy" through encouraging cooperation, sharing of knowledge, dezentralisation and supporting a non harming fair economy.
