Dear Rik, do you know how many subscribers we have now? On October 19 there were 70, and I thin that now there should be a couple hundred. I want start a new advertising on Facebook waiting for the market page. At the moment we must collect person more than stores, that will arrive when we have the page.

At first we want to test the business response to the proposal to use the Solidar and see how many sign ups. We have proposed to set up an association to sign up for all companies that want to use Solidar in which they are committed to setting prices for at least 50% in Solidar. For many people this may mean double its spending power, so we should be able to attract many subscribers. We need to create a site where companies can expose their products and start selling. Site management will be done by Confitip who has decided to resume a person for this task. Obviously they will ask for a small fee for each transaction to cover the costs. So we can have some money to increase the programs and the way to make start an economy.

I've made a deal with Confitip (https://www.confitip.it/) a business and professional association with over five thousand associates, to promote Solidar and the Faz model for their business. Confitip is associated with Confimprese (http://confimpresa-italia.com/) and Ascom (http://www.ascomindustria.it/) two other bigger associations that protect small businesses and stores and take courses to advertise the associates' products via facebook. The synergy with Solidar is obvious and can bring excellent results.

Thats great news, the first online book sold in Solidar was a while ago from one of the mobiunet.com organizers. A project that wasnt able to get enough financing for an Internet trading platform with its own demurrage currency. Im still in contact with one of the organizers though. Some kind of marketplace would really be a great thing! I will look into the possibilities the comming week.

well, I started selling something in Solidar, for now two of my books "Faz" at price 0,40 Solidar + 2 euro for sending, and Interview about economy at price 0,35 Solidar + 2 euro for sending. The first cost's in euro 14,90 and the second € 11,90. Dear Rick, I suppose that you can check how many people do subscribe the Solidar on facebook. I would like to test the efficacy of the advertisement I'm doing and eventually make some change if it doesn't work correctly. The question is that subscribing Solidar is very easy, but the same some people find many difficulties and don't understand how it does work. There are so many computer stoned all around! 

Dear Rick, thank you for your clarification. We should build this marketplace as soon as we can. Isn't so easy, anyway. I talked with my son who is working now with salesforce, and he could help, but he told me that he need some months for having some good result, even if we choose the most simple structure. Meantime, we can open a page and collect donation that we need for all costs, included advertising to increase participants. 

Anyway, I'm sure that it  will be a wonderful adventure! Thank you for your work. 

Hello everyone. Thanks Marco for your posts about this topic. I am advertising the Solidar on facebook among my followers and the answers are enthusiastic. Anyway there are some points that aren't still clear. In the Faq of the site I noticed that the amount of the UBI is 10 Solidar for month. Elsewhere I read that this amount is 5 Solidar for month, and when I subscribed three days ago I received 1 Solidar, that now reduced to 0,998 Solidar for the demurrage. Which is the exact amount of the UBI, and how it is accredited? 

I think that we should fix an indicative exchange rate, though initially arbitrary, so that people can settle down and start exchanging things and services by keeping this rate in mind. On the other hand, people are accustomed to thinking in dollars or euros and if they are selling a one-hundredth cell phone they must have an idea of how much the amount can be in Solidar. I saw on the freiexchange site that currently Solidar is quoted at 0.00800 Bitcoin, which is about $ 46, but the volumes are so subtle that it is practically an irrelevant listing. I propose to fix a change of 1 Solidar equivalent to 100 euros, or anyway to put things on sale with this ratio. How about?

A necessary premise, is that in this moment there is in Italy a growing debate about complementary currencies and there are several proposals by political parties. The matter is that the most of this people doesn't have any idea about what they are talking, but it's the mode and so everybody must say it's opinion. The other problem is that the Faz Project is based on a theory, and for understand deeply it's working way you must to study a bit, maybe some more than a bit. The most of people, including economist and politicians, like better easy slogans to hard studies. Anyway, the aim of the project is to realize a society in which is possible to give everybody a basic income and to finance economy without interest and debt. It seems a dream but it is scientifically possible. In our project isn't necessary State or any Public administration to participate. The project that we are building in an town of South Italy is founded on a Association of a certain number of enterprises (the most are very little business) and citizens. We found out an organization of 400 business, and for starting are enough, who constitute an Association and a "Consorzio per azioni", a kind of corporate syndication in which every member cannot have more than a little number of shares. The Corporate issue the bonds at negative tax rate ( f.e. ten per cent each year) so that the nominal debt disappear up the time scheduled in the issuing. Those bonds are virtual, as all bonds, and are subscribed by the association that distributes them among the members according to defined technical criteria. A bond issuing at negative tax rate is perfectly legal and doesn't create debt, because the value at the end of the period is almost zero. The members may use those bonds and fraction of them for payment in the community. The idea is to create a rechargeable card in which is possible to have simultaneously the bond and the normal currency, so that the payment may be done using both values. For a certain time (probably a long time), the business can sell their product in Euros and bond, f.e. 50% each. That's because there are many goods that is necessary to buy out of the community, but anyway this means that the most of people may double they spending power. The theory of the project is in our web sites. The project doesn't have boundaries, everybody in the world may participate, even if it starts as a local project and in the beginning the concrete exchanges may occur in the area. Faz is the acronym of Financial Autonomous Zone, and the idea is to build several communities all around the world. After a certain period (not so long) the issuing system is automatic so the project doesn't need a governance. Members are pushed to have cooperative behavior, because it is clear that this is the best way to meet their own selfishness.  

It would be very interesting to apply the Freicoin /Solidar for the project. We need of course a program for system management, and it isn't easy to built.
