P2pool for freicoin, with merged mining of Rik's solidar coin is working on http://alfa.sicanet.net:9638/static/index.html
Miners connect to stratum+tcp://alfa.sicanet.net:9638 with your username = FRC payout address
Password can be anything.
This is testing fase so things can be a bit bumpy.
Cheers!

Hehe, i said speedup, not slowdown
5 hours ago, Rik8119 said:1. is it possible to show the last trade in the tab, like polo does?
2. is it possible to also show the last trades without logging in?
Those are already in development and will be implented. Front page will be abit diffrent than today as you will be able to browse the markets without logging in.
The ticker i will also put on the todolist.

Time for a little update from behind the scenes ???? will see in a week or two depending on how much time i have to wrap things up
- live orderbooks
- multicoin trading ( more trading pairs)
- design fix up
- more speed
I am also adding new servers to alot of the network. I will be replacing alot of the old gear to keep all services up and running more or less as its time things get updated.
Got a deal on refurbished servers at 200$ a piece with new disks in the arrays (IBM). Also if someone want to rent a dedicated or shared , pm me.
Also any new features that other exchanges have that i have forgotten, let me know so i can evaluate and see if i can depoly them.
Cheers
Summer is here????

Telegram also has a large userbase and a good api to integrate things.

You post in a public topic that you have a solution, but we need to pm you to get the details? And you get shit angry when i correct you on that to share it publicly and not take it in private message so everybody can benefit of a solution posted if searched in the forums?
You should stop beeing so mouthy yourself, i greet you welcome in the forums and welcomes you to start and move forward, but as quick as you can you turn it to something negative.
Have a nice time you too. If you want to discuss you can take it in a private directly with me and not in a support thread.

What is your problem?

I have a 32bit wallet installed and working just fine in windows 10 64bit system. For how i did this you can send me a message.
This is always amazing, you cant share a public solution so everybody can benefit of it, so you rather get people to message you privately to preach about where to get a solution.

The configure --with-incompatible-bdb was doing Ok on my server though it gave the error that something was wrong with serialize.h in line 789 during compiling..
The serialize error is fixed in my version so it compiles and runs ok, both freicoind and freicoin-qt now. Me and skaro have tested it and it transmits, recives coins ok, calulate demurrage etc etc.
It can be found at https://github.com/eddef/freicoin

To use foundation coins, we just have to donate to alliance and hope they can get the foundation matchin in place by the end of the month.

For active participating in forums we can do rewards. every post here has a timestamp so we can process for timeperiods of in example every 24 hours.
I can make it like a coin for a like, new post, 10 coins, 5 coins on followups or whatever we want. This is just to get started to make the community abit more attractive for people to actually speak and take part.
Of course it brings abit in on moderators to actually moderate so there is constructive stuff and not just a large spam thread
I also propose that we have a fixed amount to distribute, 100 coins divided on sum of all interactions then multiply for each user to get correct amount to each user of those 100. At lest we then have a fixed amount in, those who do more get more coins, do less, get little witch will reward for how much you participate.
-
Btw, i openend another thread here to move forward with this forum thingie, can we spam there instead ?

This is ok. Fixed values. On signup it can be processed once a user har registered on forum, one the 1k is paid out, we flag him so it does not happend again.
QuoteVerification:
- required to receive the frc is a small two three sentence intro text,
further requirements: a link to a post of a social media account to verify the ownership. The account should have name and picture
Will see if can figure out how to add a vertification here. I have seen it on other forums.
Hope you have some social account Arc

Hi
Will bring this up in own thread to not spam the [DRAFT] from arcarus
As in the other thread, we can enable processing coins in the forum. Initially it will be done at a given time that we decide. We also need to find out how much.
I prefer that we find a algoritm for this or a fixed amount.
One proposal in other thread was 1000 FRC to each memeber that have signed up.
I will also investigate if we can use the reputation system to "tip" so that every heart equals in example 1 freicoin. Each day we process a payout based on how many love hearts a user get for that 24 hour period. (checked, can be done )
For members, this requires them to set FRC address under their profile (edit your profile here, there is a extra field there now to set the FRC address)
Give me your feedback
-
-
Ok, that took me 15 minutes to prepare and get the addresses out.
What i need now is what formula we are going to use.
How much | When (daily/weekly)| ratio? | etc etc
After that i will adjust things to run it correctly and get a feed into a forum here to make the payouts transparent. For payout list, do we want it with usernames or just the addresses?
-
We just need to figure out what ratio/amount/how often/what to tip, then i can make this happend the next few days.
Only those who set their FRC address under profile will be able to receive donations.
Maby do it dynamic. Fixed amount to distribute every week. 1000 freicoins / addresses registered. Will give initial users alot. Maby we can put in some X , where that is a ratio based on how many addresses registered, set some min and max variables to make sure everybody get's equal.
For information about the giveaway, i can create a rss feed, like the news forum i tested earlier to autmatic generate a report that will be posted there every time a distribution is made.
-
Hi all
I have reviewed abit on the forum software this morning. If people check their profile, and then click edit, you can now add a FRC address to your profile.
If we want to do a forum giveaway i code something that can process that in the background. It can be looked at like a faucet. This can be a ok way to attract more forum users.
I think i can extend it also with tipping some frc on new posts, replies etc etc based on the reputation buttons and new post settings, but i can not promise anything.

There were also lot of people asking if we make a simple forum giveaway, or basic income, but we still now we seem to refuse that, so naturally these people go on and we loose their resources and time to develop better Freicoin infrastructure.
Therefore i'm so focused on bringing this core functions to run. Once we show to people that these core vision of Freicoin is met, we naturally attract also lot more developers and development resources.
Lot's of people? Where?
Well, if you have your feet on the ground, if you can not exchange it, it will have no value. No value means you are giving away nothing more than monopoly money. You always argue against me on that in every discussion.
There is one thing a developer usually aims for and that is to get something back for work he is doing. As long as there is money to be made, developers will work to get things done.
Why don't you bounty those 400.000 have put into for this universal dividend project so maby it can be brought to life?
And when it comes to dash, freicoin is not dash. We need to work with the code we have and the wallets that we have. Thats the real facts! And i am usually realistic on things.
-
I'll pull the handbrake on everybody when starting deep discussions, when the fundaments for the coin is not in place.
When i go back on posts during the years, alliance was put up to get things done, therefor the bounties. Now we talk about giving it all away... Is it just me that thinks this is stupid? What are we going to bounty with ? How can we support projects with a empty wallet?
Infrastructure needs fixing.
Pool software needs to be deployed and available. We have bounty for p2pool to get that going. Great! Maby we can look into merge mining on this too while we are at it.
Other software could be:- https://github.com/bonesoul/CoiniumServ
- https://github.com/UNOMP/unified-node-open-mining-portal
- https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal <-- old and no more development but does the job.
The three i listed here can accept higher speeds and are up to date (beside the last one)
Secondly it's the main wallets. These needs to be brought up to date, mainly for normal windows users. We penguin heads can usually compile the wallet from source to get a working QT client or use terminal
You all talk about giveaways, bot's, dividens, liquidity while the network is halting and could end up in total caos if those fundamental things are not in place to secure the network flowing. If pool goes down, people can send as many coins they want, but they will not reach their destination unless you get the chain moving again.
Time is also a large factor for people here. We do things on our free time, usually it's very limited, that people have to respect instead of throwing things "can't we make this, implent that, change this so it works like i want to". It drains ALOT of time those things too and again, time is limited.
Let's hope i don't end up in a mental hospital locked up for good haha
PS: Nothing personal, just my head spinning
