Aren't there then equivalent modifications done in Freicoin .8?
-
So Arcurus got Freicoin 0.9 compiled and identified areas where work is needed. winning.

There is 270,000 FRC for sale @ 330 to 350. That's $1200 USD. There are also strong buy orders @230. The latter part of last week has seen about $150 move per day. People from UK, Iran, India, Switzerland, Brazil and Ukraine and more (well maybe one or two people form each country) are coming to the exchange regularly. Besides a few smiley happy miners, this is a considerable change from a few months ago when Freicoin wasn't even listed on CoinMarketCap. Three cheers to Fedde! and a couple for the rest of us too!

Yeah. of course. That's what a bank statement would look like. I got a little lost in my own world. I had worked through the algebra for a simpler way to arrive at the balance without keeping a history, and that's one reason why the accuracy of the API is better. Now for the display, I have to come back to the human world. But I really liked 'redeemable amount'...
There are about 8 different places in ABE where you have to make the adjustment for demurrage (since we are not keeping a history for each wallet), and each case takes a slightly different approach. I can use 'redeemed amount' when calculating the fee..

for historic reasons it could be nice to have the balance at a certain time when a transaction occurred. For the balance of a certain transaction i see no need, because so or so its just one address where the funds are on. Yea I saw the the sums in the top left, that's great!
Right, I see what you mean. I created something which was a convenient way to arrive at todays total. Maybe you could make up a sample spreadsheet of what you think it should look like.

the 24volume curve from freiexchange looks too good to be true... its steady increasing without any fall down in between. It looks more like the 24volume displays the total trading volume since beginning and just sums it up.
I'm not sure how they calculate their 24hour volume curve. But one thing is, we have not had a 24 hour period of 0 transactions. There has been at least one trade per day.

so the balance is not the balance at the time when the transaction occurred, it is just the balance what is left from the transaction amount?
Wouldn't it be nice to have the balance at that time instead?
Well, there is only one Balance column and all transactions occur at different times and demurrage is constant. I didn't think its of any use to have the balance for any time other than now.
The sum of all original deposits and withdraws are at the top left

The API is like this:
http://freicoin.info/chain/Freicoin/q/addressbalance/16qhfJtrwCvNwRBA9efqAUVoonrPPkD25y
-
the demurrage happens between these two figures: Original amount: 247194.9999 and redeemable amount: 232347.57408587
-
Also, check the API balance for 173rgF1WoE1d6aheAJ3C2qgyDNHgm9fm2A is it exact?
-
can you be more specific about your question on transaction balance? Balance column is running total of redeemable amount.
-
double check by refreshing to make sure they are both at the same block height.

Does that mean people can use it instead of downloading a Freicoin wallet?

So there have been some changes made to the explorer:
1) It now parses in the transaction ref_height. The balances now are much more accurate. The API (http://freicoin.info/chain/Freicoin/q/addressbalance/1KQ...) so far appears to be exact. The balance calculated in the tables appears to suffer some round off error for address with many transactions.
2) The redeemed transaction value is shown at the time it was redeemed
3) Cumulative demurrage is calculated
You should go to your wallets and type "listaddressgroupings" and compare the balance for each address with Freicoin.info.

With the increasing price of FRC and it's volatility, it's time to start applying the dollar cost averaging: spend the same amount of BTC weekly. So you buy more FRC when it cheaper. Regular investment is also good for the volume curve.
-
There is an update for ABE waiting to be pushed through. It parses the transaction ref-height now. It requires reloading the whole chain into tables, so Fedde wants to do some back ups first. Also, you will be able to see how much demurrage you paid to date and per transaction.

Our 24volume curve on coinmarketcap is the best its been since September 2014.

Any advances on this project?
-
Even better. It can be done via SQL! Actually ABE stores the public keys in encrypted form (or gibberish form, anyway). So you can't read the address in the SQL tables. But this is my next project with ABE: to have human readable tables and do blockchain analysis!! I was thinking of asking for Freicoin foundation coins for this.

How about something like: "Accept Freicoin as payment on your web site and get 100000FRC plus free advertising space at x,y,z."?
-
I think lubricatung of the exchange is a good idea to keep volume steady, lower price volatility, and attract users.
i think the needs are different now then they were a month ago and what it will be in 3 months. So, a simpler application that can change might be useful. "Sign up and get $1000FRC!", might work well today.

There are still improvements to make, and I'm still working on it.
As Freicoins now have value, I may have to declare the bounty as income (better now then when the value goes up). This is a great thing!
