So there have been some changes made to the explorer:
1) It now parses in the transaction ref_height. The balances now are much more accurate. The API (http://freicoin.info/chain/Freicoin/q/addressbalance/1KQ...) so far appears to be exact. The balance calculated in the tables appears to suffer some round off error for address with many transactions.
2) The redeemed transaction value is shown at the time it was redeemed
3) Cumulative demurrage is calculated
You should go to your wallets and type "listaddressgroupings" and compare the balance for each address with Freicoin.info.

Indeed! It is possible to install the client on all PCs as far as I know. And I will try to do an android version too.

Abe is a good start but lacking many specific abilities, so it makes sense to include some analytics. I personally am happy with the functions we got at the moment but as including demurrage calculation happened for free i am willing to add a few FRC if the alliance decide to fund it. 
BTW: Looking at the chart today makes me really wish I've picked more at the 33 to 50 sat range..

Even better. It can be done via SQL! Actually ABE stores the public keys in encrypted form (or gibberish form, anyway). So you can't read the address in the SQL tables. But this is my next project with ABE: to have human readable tables and do blockchain analysis!! I was thinking of asking for Freicoin foundation coins for this.

Is there any way of estimating this: Number of adresses that have become inactive, Number of wallets upgraded, Historical number of codes?
 
 

Okay thanks. Well it seems to me that any discussion of sustainability should probably include at least something about where to spend the coins. There are none. I suppose thats a large part of what the foundation was about, to encourage a community, sellers and buyers. I feel we are forgetting this part of circulation.

Please define 'sustainable' and 'redistribution' place, for me.

I think lubricatung of the exchange is a good idea to keep volume steady, lower price volatility, and attract users.
i think the needs are different now then they were a month ago and what it will be in 3 months. So, a simpler application that can change might be useful. "Sign up and get $1000FRC!", might work well today.

The idea of diverting some of the 5% demurrage away from miners to something well within the original philosophy of Freicoin.

So I think it can be a good idea. (I'm the orignalist  texturalist here lol)
But I think we should be careful in our minds to consider that the cryptocurrency world is in a different state of evolution than anyone 'predicted', and Freicoin now is different from what it would be with higher volume. Also, perhaps we should consider Freicoin in a world with many cryptocurrencies existing simultaneously. I think the disincentive of usery has a different meaning in this view: people can use Bitcoin for investing and Freicoin for transfer, and maybe Solidar for imposing wealth redistribution in local groups.

16 Min.Gesendet     in the longer run many in the community would want to have that some part of the demurrage is distributed to projects. The easiest way to implement it would be to make it like the current foundation. Like 20% to miners and 80% for projects. This part would be great to have distributed regularly through community vote. To start with the voting must not be done at the blockchain itself. I guess that Rik would be willing to help this implement.

for the giveaway, I would prefer that is done through the donation matching program, just another project with 100% matching or something, but that's my opinion

For me most important is to start with what makes Freicoin unique, thats alternative issuing methods like the giveaway.
In short term we could use our own coins to make the issuing, in the long run we should use some part of the demurrage.
The easiest way to implement that would be to make a Freicoin Soft Fork that gives some part of the block reward to a hardcoded address.
It would be enough if the main Freicoin nodes / currently mainly the two exchanges we have would enforce the softwork.
 
The bad thing is, that this would introduce again a central point of failure like the current foundation. The good thing is that it is easy to implement, just use the code for the foundation again...
The second possibility would be to jump at once to partly proof of stake or a second masternode layer. This is far far more complicated to implement, but would be decentralized.
 
Having a p2p pool is nice to have, but i see no urgency in it. If you want have decentralized mining, better switch the mining alg and give subsidies directly to people to mine.
 
Here my suggestion:
Short term:
- Get started with the Freicoin giveaway
- Restructuring Freiexchange as easy to use wallet (sending coins internally per name or per address) 
- Moving the Alliance Funds to somebody who wants to take care of it. I would nominate Skaro or Rik.
- having updated Freicoin website
 
Mid term:
- having a simple Freicoin web store to sell things like chocolate
- Having updated Freicoin clients
- Outlining a clear concept for decentralising the coin issuing and moving towards proof of stake / proof of member
- Switching to a Freicoin unique mining ALG
- solving what is to be done with the current Foundation coins
- considering a soft fork to issue some part of the demurrage in other ways
 
Long term:
- switch to pow pos combination or implement second masternode layer
- implement budget / voting structure

- implement proof of member
