Skaro 129
There is a genuinely healthy market. Rik8119
Rik8119 242
I'm so glad fedde managed to set up this smart and simple exchange, absolute professional. Without it this would be unthinkable.. Arcurus and Bicknellski
Skaro 129
Gentlemen, we broke the 300 level on CoinMarketCap, We are ranked at 292. This rating always fluctuates, but this is a benchmark in Freicoin's new life. At the last trade, FRC was at 0.00000190 BTC. Bicknellski and Rik8119
Bicknellski 276
I guess a lot of the 20% in circulation is dead coin... lost wallets etc... Rik8119
Skaro 129
Is there any way of estimating this: Number of adresses that have become inactive, Number of wallets upgraded, Historical number of codes? Bicknellski
Bicknellski 276
Well you could see last time an address was used right? Can be searched via block explorer.
Skaro 129
Even better. It can be done via SQL! Actually ABE stores the public keys in encrypted form (or gibberish form, anyway). So you can't read the address in the SQL tables. But this is my next project with ABE: to have human readable tables and do blockchain analysis!! I was thinking of asking for Freicoin foundation coins for this. Bicknellski

Rik8119 242
Abe is a good start but lacking many specific abilities, so it makes sense to include some analytics. I personally am happy with the functions we got at the moment but as including demurrage calculation happened for free i am willing to add a few FRC if the alliance decide to fund it. BTW: Looking at the chart today makes me really wish I've picked more at the 33 to 50 sat range.. Skaro
Skaro 129
Our 24volume curve on coinmarketcap is the best its been since September 2014. Bicknellski
Skaro 129
There is an update for ABE waiting to be pushed through. It parses the transaction ref-height now. It requires reloading the whole chain into tables, so Fedde wants to do some back ups first. Also, you will be able to see how much demurrage you paid to date and per transaction. Skaro 129
With the increasing price of FRC and it's volatility, it's time to start applying the dollar cost averaging: spend the same amount of BTC weekly. So you buy more FRC when it cheaper. Regular investment is also good for the volume curve. Bicknellski

It looks more like the 24volume displays the total trading volume since beginning and just sums it up. Bicknellski

But one thing is, we have not had a 24 hour period of 0 transactions. There has been at least one trade per day.
Skaro 129
There is 270,000 FRC for sale @ 330 to 350. That's $1200 USD. There are also strong buy orders @230. The latter part of last week has seen about $150 move per day. People from UK, Iran, India, Switzerland, Brazil and Ukraine and more (well maybe one or two people form each country) are coming to the exchange regularly. Besides a few smiley happy miners, this is a considerable change from a few months ago when Freicoin wasn't even listed on CoinMarketCap. Three cheers to Fedde! and a couple for the rest of us too!
