looks like some 1000% in less than one month. But still very low volume. I really hope that we bring the coin distribution to run

The configure --with-incompatible-bdb was doing Ok on my server though it gave the error that something was wrong with serialize.h in line 789 during compiling..

Hi rik, i managed to bring .configure to run for 0.9 but got stuck while compiling it.
Fedde opened now an issue for that on github:

Jorge said that he will look into that, so i guess its best to wait until we get some feedback.
For bringing .configure to run, i had to follow the instructions of the build manual for unix and install all the dependencies mentioned at the bottom of the file, like the Database library and the boost framework manually. But now i got stuck during compilation.
If you want i can help you on unbuntu to bring the .configure to run. For the other issue i guess its best to wait for response from jorge or maaku.

Ok my bad, the installation routine changed to:
./autogen.sh ./configure make I installed autogen, but it is still giving me some errors at ./configure

So, Acurus wrote that 0.9 is ready for testing and i tried to compile on Lubuntu.
First it has no makefile unix to compile, so i coppied it from freicoin 0.8 - it started to compile but give me an error:

yes jitmon said 0.9 is long long time ready to be tested.

I favor to get the p2pool code fixed as it would be the easiest way to distribute and for new users to set up that want to run a pool.
There is of course other alternavies (nomp, unomp , mpos etc etc) but those are single site pool. I rather see a p2pool network that can work togheter to secure the network itself. 
Also, the 0.9 code. I see last commit, 25 july 2016. Thats a looong time ago.

After talking with fedde how important it is to fix p2pool i put it up higher in priority. Who ever wants to lay his hand on that feel very welcome. If needed we can also set a bounty for that.

- Moving the Alliance Funds to somebody who wants to take care of it. I would nominate Skaro or Rik.- having updated Freicoin websites
 
Mid term:
- having a simple Freicoin web store to sell things
 
- extending the Freicoin giveaway
- outlining a clear concept for decentralising the coin issuing and moving towards proof of stake / proof of member
- outlining what is to be done with the current Foundation coins
- considering a soft fork to issue some part of the demurrage in other ways
- considering switching to a Freicoin unique mining ALG

- switch to proof of work / proof of stake combination or implement second masternode layer
- implement budget / voting structure

The easiest way to implement it would be to make it like the current foundation. Like 20% to miners and 80% for projects. This part would be great to have distributed regularly through community vote. To start with the voting must not be done at the blockchain itself. I guess that Rik would be willing to help this implement.

for the giveaway, I would prefer that is done through the donation matching program, just another project with 100% matching or something, but that's my opinion

100 coins if you signup with email and have an invitation
1000 coins if you sign up and verify with handy (no invitation required)
1 coin per day for email sign ups
10 coins per day for handy signups.
Invitations we give out.

I think lubricatung of the exchange is a good idea to keep volume steady, lower price volatility, and attract users.
i think the needs are different now then they were a month ago and what it will be in 3 months. So, a simpler application that can change might be useful. "Sign up and get $1000FRC!", might work well today.
