Hi all,
I believe, that children themselves are the best teachers for children. I also believe, that sharing knowledge with others is the best way to learn.
Personally I want help to change the current industry based school system to a more human based school system, that encourages creativity, cooperation and self motivated learning.   
 
 
Currently I think about starting with these parameters:
 
Up to now nothing is set in stone, so feel free to add.
 
Per month 1 Freihour(10 dollar) per student is given out in Freicoin as a World Citizens Dividend.
(+1 Freihour for common good projects)
 
To participate the students have to fulfill certain requirements.
 
- create / join a Freicoin World Citizens Group with (each group should have round 5-30 students)
- verify the identity of each other
- make sure, that nobody is already in another Freicoin Citizens Group
- elect two speakers of their group
- post a group picture
- verify their school 
- make transparent for what they use their Freicoins (post here in the forum, pictures, small blog (optional video / live-stream))
- together decide, how they want to use their Freicoins 
 
A group can become a warning (yellow card) if does not full fill these requirements.
A group can be shut down for a certain time period (for example one year) if they try to cheat, or get a second warning (red card).
 
The Freicoins should be used to shift from an harming to an non harming economy, that encourages cooperation and has the common good as goal. Therefore the students should be encouraged to reflect, how their own using of Freicoin affects their own life, their local and world wide surrounding if more would follow the same using of Freicoins like they do.
 
 
 
Technically the Freicoins are payed out after the Freicoin Foundation matching* is done.
Currently this is done monthly.
 
For example:
12 students group up and create an World Citizens Group.
They proof their identities (for example by creating list of names + a group picture / video chat)
They sign up here in the forum.
 
Monthly they claim with with Freicoins (
 
transfer 2 Freihours (currently 10.000 Freicoins) (20 dollar worth of Freicoins*) to the Freicoin address of their verified World Citizens Group.
After the Freicoin matching from the Freicoin Foundation is done they get back their transferred Freicoins + the matching from the Foundation as a World Citizens Dividend. 50% of the extra coins must be used for registred non profit projects. 
 
 
* Re-donations of their own Freicoins are currently not allowed!  
If the coin matching percentage from the Freicoin Foundation decreases this amount could increase. For example with 10% Foundation Matching 200 dollar worth of Freicoins are needed to get t 20 dollar worth of matching. (the other way round if the matching percentage increases)
 
  
Each group decides together how they will spend their Freicoins.
Use cases could be for example:
Helping to grow their own food.
Beatifying their school / neighborhood
Helping to create a preventive health care.
Helping other students.
And so on...
 
 
To make it happen personally I am ready to support with all that I can!

Also a more.. ~easy to use and better looking desktop wallet would be something I support. Something like the Armory or Electrum ^^
 
Bounties/rewards for some proper promotional / explanation videos and other media would be beneficial in mi opinion as well Like how demurrage actually works / what does it mean, how it differs from inflation, what benefits and cons it may bring, etc

"Free giveaways" I dont like too much as I see it more harmful to promote people getting something for nothing / being just lazy. Though that "giveaway" Arc has in the previous post is something I'd accept, since it's more like a reward

Yup, I'm also somewhat surprised that cryptsy hasnt yet closed their doors or had too much criticizing of its services. But I guess its the same as with the other now collapsed services.. people dont have the time / are too lazy to do research

I've done the little trading I've needed mostly on BTER. Cryptsy has felt shady for a long time.. for some reason I dont trust the management behind it. 
They've also raised the trading fees few times, being now at 0.29%... trying to silently account for the losses they've had? *tinfoilhatter*


But, like fedde mentioned, Askcoin seems to be the only exchange that has implemented the live demurrage, so I've moved the little trading needs I have to there ^^

Like Skirmant says, deception is an effective way to keep people misguided. It has been a strategy by "the powers that be" for centuries, if not millenniums, and for a good reason; it works.
Divide and conquer, like they say.
 
So.. the thing that raises the "Oh dear" feeling for me in that clip.. is the portrayal of the media manipulation as a new phenomena. Theres some other manipulative wordings and phrases in it too :/

I also kinda agree with Arcurus, but kinda not. Politics can be understood broadly, so I guess it depends how one defines "politics". I'd like to think people can live together without the need for politics, just by agreeing to live by certain rules in that certain area/community where they are located  

But then! When you think about what makes these kinds of broad deceptions possible, is indeed the fact that its too complicated and time consuming for common folks to find out "the truth" about something done behind ~closed doors. Blockchain technology is starting to offer solutions to this, which is really exciting! ^^ 

By the way, I suggest now to go into the Alpha phase of starting these projects.
In the beginning until the projects are registered we could use the Alliance as umbrella,
but we should soon then register the projects step by step, so that also the freicoin foundation can make an decision on it.

That would be a great thing!
The next we should do is start registering the 5 outlined projects above, so that the Freicoin Foundation can make an decicion if they support them.
Personally I will concentrate on the basic income project, because I think here we have the best chance to propagate Freicoin and on the same time do a lot of good.

here is an proposal to use in bounties, loans, donations, basic income project and other projects that need an more "stable" unit of account an new unit called Freihour.

 

The Freihour is intended to be used if we need some more stable unit of account.

An Freihour reflects an average working hour and is currently defined as purchasing power of round about 10 Dollar on 2014/12/06.

As time comes inflation will be calculated in it, therefore the related Dollar / Freicoin value may increase in case of inflation or decrease in case of deflation.

 

Currently (2014/12/16) an Freihour equal round about 5000 Freicoins. 

If an Freihour becomes more worth then double the initial purchasing power we can set an Freihour to 2500 Freicoins and so on.

If an Freihour becomes less worth then half the initial purchasing power we can set an Freihour to 10000 Freicoins and so on. 

 

Later if needed we could automate this process.

 

To use the Freihour is currently just an experiment, so feel free to take part!

One of the main points this video outlines is that with the growth of our productivity we could all (with all I mean really all) live a joyful live on this planet.
 
In the following some thoughts from me to that. I thinks its also very relevant to the motives behind Freicoin and therefore we should reflect about that:
 
Marc started Freicoin as the currency of the 99% people. 
For me to make a currency for  99% of the people is not enough.
I want to make a currency / economic system for 100% of the people.
Even the 1%, so called "rich",  will loose in the current system.
The more and more people haven't enough to live, naturally violence, uncontrollable diseases, greed, destruction of nature will arise in the current system. 
Nobody wants to live in a world where he must live in an fortress to defend himself against the outside. 
And nobody want to live in an world where the water is not drinkable and the air not breathable.
 
It is so easy to blame someone outside of us.
But in truth we all together create this system. And I know none who is truly happy with it, because deep inside we know where this systems leads to.
Because deep inside we are aware of all this, so naturally we feel consciously or unconsciously a deep guilt.
But instead of looking at the guild we feel and changing our life to get truly rid of this guild we become busy in running away and try through consuming more and more to not face our true feelings.
 
But this will never help to get rid of our guild!
Instead of creating some mysterious group, where we can put on all the guild we have, its time to awake and become aware of the true feelings inside.
 
How can I be truly happy if my consumption exploits people?
How can I be truly happy if my way of live destroys the eco system and society I live in?
 
And no we should also not make another dogmas like:
You are an evil guy if you eat meat or use Windows 2008.
 
The important thing is to realize what is going on and then act step by step according to that.
Otherwise we are just busy with fighting someone in the outside. 
Even an small simple change will not stop with this change.
Once the first step is done it continues.
 
 
Some points that we should be aware:
As far as I see it: Most of the increases productivity as outlined in this video is not going to the 1%. We simply happen to create a lot of fully unnecessary Jobs that nobody really needs.
Just look how the so called services sector like banks, advertisements, insurances, where nothing is really created is growing and growing, just because we have the dogma, that in an modern society its good to have less people working outside producing some stuff.
And can we really blame these companies. NO we currently need them to have an excuse to have some jobs, because we don't know what to do with all this people.  
 
We think that we are an advanced society, because our services sector is so big. But in truth we just enslaved the other part of the world to work for us. And on the top of that we exploit the nature, like anything and on the same time try to export this exploitation  to the rest of the world, so that at least we have company in experiencing guilt. 
 
We must get rid of the dogma in our heads, that onetime robots will produce everything for us, and then we will be truly happy.  
We must get rid of the dogma, that we can modify plants and animals and maybe humans to solve all starvation.
We must get rid of the dogma, that we are more "rich" then other, because we can afford to have 5 phones, 3+ Computers and an TV in every room.
 
I for my part do not want to live in such a world. That does not mean that we should not use technology for the good of all being. But instead of creating harming technology we should more and more focus on enriching technology that works together with nature. Instead of keeping all the knowledge and resources for us, we should encourage cooperation and sharing of knowledge an resources.
 
 
We created a system that separates us more and more from each other.
But humans are meant to live together. Out of being lonely we started to buy more and more stuff and put it in our "living" rooms, beacuse we happen to be born in an climate that is most of the time too cold for our human body.
But no TV and no Phone can replace a true human companion.
And "Living" better called starving in an so called living room better called starving room will never replace the direct experience of nature.
Its natural to have a longing for the company of other humans and its natural to be in nature.
No TV and No computer can replace that. 
 
 
  
 
Time to awake! Time to create another world!

I agree with rebuilding  from the ground up.
As long as some humans life together there will be always be some politics involved, the problem starts if it the politics gets to abstract and says one thing to reach another thing...

Deception is seems like a good strategy to keep people confused, searching for non-existent patterns in randomness. The problem is that reality is often too complicated for the average person's attention span and life isn't white and black where everything gets fixed by targeting a specific evil entity, party or ideology. Were all apart of the system so the best way to solve these issues is to try repairing our broken societies from the ground up, focusing on the individual, not politics. But that's just my opinion

Hi all,
after founding the Alliance we got already more then 550.000 Donations made in Freicoin.
From that 400.000 Freicoins was given directly for the wallet bounties.
That means, that we still have more then 150.000 Freicoins available for further projects that we want support.
 
Thank a lot to all donors, no matter if they donated  their precious time, some coins, or gave just an encouraging feedback.
At the end the most important are encouraging feedbacks. Often just a like can do a lot!

UPDATE:  The Alliance got now round about 100.000 Freicoins through the Freicoin Foundation matching.
That equals to 10% matching. Maaku said, that the other 90% will follow once the donation matching script is changed.
 
Outgoing:
The first transaction of 45K Freicoins was made to the Freicoin Alliance donation address to apply for donation matching, because the donor has sent the donation to the wrong address where the alliance would not get an matching.
